What you need to know
When you take part in a Yoga class remember you are responsible for your own body. Take the class carefully, be patient, listen to and connect with your body. Never do anything you feel is beyond your capabilities. Yoga is non competitive, we are all different and therefore we all practise differently. Just think about what you are doing and not anyone else.
Allow about 2-3 hours after eating a heavy meal.
Always stop and rest if you need to. Drink plenty of water. Wear loose clothing. If you do not understand anything just ask.
Relax, enjoy the class and remember to focus internally, this is your special time
